24 HRS PRIOR TO GANDUJE’S KANGAROO SUSPENSION BEN NWOYE’S MEDIA AIDE GERALD NWOLISA GOES ON SOCIAL MEDIA TO PROCLAIM THAT TINUBU HAS ENDORSED HIS REMOVAL
Ben Nwoye and Gerald Nwolisa, also known as Pigo, appear to have shifted their base of political mischief to the APC National headquarters in Abuja. These individuals, known as moles, are actively engaged in activities to destabilize the party by disseminating unverified information that could sow discord among national leaders and the party at large.
Their covert collaboration with the opposition PDP is evident in their efforts to create crises within the APC at both the state and national levels. What they previously executed in Enugu State over eight years has now infiltrated the national hierarchy of the party. This motive prompted Gerald Nwolisa, aka Pigo, to make the proclamation on Sunday, April 14, 2024, just 24 hours before Ganduje’s suspension, claiming that President Bola Tinubu had endorsed Alhaji Ali Dalori as Ganduje’s successor and as the incoming national chairman.
Ben Nwoye was used by ex Gov Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi throughout his eight years in office to completely destabilize APC and openly work for PDP which led to his suspension by the current executive of APC led by the no-nonsense chairman Ugochukwu Agballah who in one swoop suspended Nwoye alongside Ken Nnamani Fmr senate president, Sullivan Chime Fmr governor, Hon Eugene Odo, Osita Okechukwu and Godfrey Onyeama Fmr Minister. These men actually campaigned openly for the opposition parties and did so audaciously with the belief they were sacred cows who could not be touched by any politician in Enugu state but not Agballah who had shot to limelight when he resigned as Chimaroke Nnamani’s commissioner for works on the grounds of principle. Agballah had gone on to contest against Nnamani in 2003 in what is unarguably referred to as the most intense power struggle in Enugu state. An election which was allegedly and popularly believed to have been won by Agballah.
Nwoye’s presence at a PDP rally during the 2023 general elections, clad in APC regalia, clearly underscores his allegiance. Despite these anti-party actions, Nwoye aggressively pursued the Chief of Staff position under Alhaji Ali Dalori. However, his efforts were met with petitions from APC stakeholders in Enugu, citing his sabotage during the 2023 elections.
His collaboration with Nwolisa to leak confidential party documents further show that they’re unrepentant moles in APC. Consequently, responding to stakeholders’ demands, Alhaji Ali Dalori removed Nwoye from his Chief of Staff position.
Nworisa’s recent public proclamation regarding Ganduje’s impending removal as National Chairman, purportedly endorsed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, preceded a sudden claim of suspension from a Kano ward. Although the suspension was swiftly debunked, it underscores the need for APC members to distance themselves from such dishonorable characters capable of compromising the party’s integrity for personal gain.
