Yesterday 12/10/2024, The Udi Professors Forum a think-tank /Trust fund organization aimed at helping indigent citizens of Udi Town of Enugu state held its inaugural meeting at the Enugu residence of their Chairman Dr Anthony Nebo, the Pro-chancellor Alex Ekwueme University Ndufu-Alike Ebonyi State.
The aims of the organization are
- To develop a burning desire for the advancement of Udi town.
- To assist Younger Udi academics to grow in their career.
- To produce a database of Udi Town Professionals both within and outside Nigeria.
- To assist Udi youths in their academic pursuits in tertiary institutions.
- To organize and assist in the upgrade of the quality of the public schools in the town.
- To assist in the growth and development of political awareness among members.
- To attract the establishment of federal institutions to the town.
