At the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, the Hon. Minister of innovation science and technology has the honour of unveiling the Sustainable Energy Access Project (SEAP) — a bold step forward in our commitment to provide every Nigerian with affordable, reliable, and sustainable energy.
The SEAP is not just another initiative; it’s a movement. It embodies our belief in the ingenuity of our people, the richness of our resources, and the limitless possibilities that arise when innovation meets bold leadership.
Through SEAP, the ministry is said to be creating islands of economic prosperity across all 774 Local Government Areas. We are empowering farmers, entrepreneurs, families, and entire communities with clean cooking solutions, productive power, sustainable transport, and new opportunities for growth.
Chief Nnaji said he firmly believe, as President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda reminds us, that poverty is not defeated by charity alone. It is defeated when we create the right conditions for prosperity: energy access, economic productivity, and technological innovation at the grassroots.
In his words,SEAP stands as a shining example of what strategic partnerships can deliver. He commended the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Aspitah Global Resources Ltd, Data Analytics & Solutions International Ltd, and CCK for their dedication to making this dream a reality. Together, we are laying the foundation for a Nigeria that moves from dependence to dominance — from consumption to production — from vulnerability to sustainable prosperity.

He further invited every stakeholder — local governments, private sector players, investors, and communities — to join the ministry in expanding this transformative vision not just across Nigeria, but across Africa.
