How UNN Registry Cleared Certificate Forgery Allegation Against Nnaji In 2023.

By Buchi Udeh.

The Office of the Registrar, UNN, has spoken: Chief Uche Nnaji Nwakabia was admitted in 1981 and graduated in 1985.

This was confirmed in a letter dated December 21, 2023, responding to inquiries from People Gazette.

Yet, despite this official confirmation, Mr. Chinagorom Ugwu of Premium Times rushed to publish a story without verifying facts, a glaring failure of journalistic responsibility.

Even more troubling is the Vice-Chancellor of UNN, Prof. Ortuanya, who appears to have allowed himself to be used as a political tool by the PDP in Enugu State, dragging the name of this prestigious university through the mud.

It is high time for clarity and accountability. Prof. Ortuanya should publish a statement reconciling any contradictory claims and uphold the integrity of UNN.

The public deserves the truth not politically motivated misinformation. Chief Nnaji is too focused on delivering the dividend of the Renewed Hope Agenda and won’t be distracted by the desperation of those who see his recent political momentum in Enugu state as a threat.

Ordinarily we wouldn’t have responded to these “Fake news” but we decided to respect the emotions of our party faithfuls and the entire Enugu populace that might be gullible to said publication.

Official records donโ€™t lie. Politics does #stopthehatchetjobUNNโ€™s credibility is on trial, not Chief Uche Nnajiโ€™s degree #hatchetjobexposed.
