On November 16, 2025, it was sort of a carnival when the people of Nachi in Udi LGA, both young and old trooped out in their numbers in solidarity and show of support to the governor of Enugu State, His Excellency Barr Peter Ndubuisi Mba.
The event which was tagged Nachi Total Solidarity Support For H.E Barr Peter Ndubuisi Mba, was organized by Nachi political stakeholders led by Hon. Emmanuel Ezenwamadu, the Deputy Chairman Udi local government, was held at Ohamkpagu Field, Nachi.
During the event, Nachi through their political leader, Chief Emmanuel Ezenwamadu spoke with one voice, and having counted all the developmental impacts, landmark projects of the state government in their community Nachi, they declared their total support for His Excellency, endorsed his second term bid, declared APC as their new political party, and promised to vote all the party’s candidates come 2027.
And in a show of gratitude, the governor who was represented at the occasion by his commissioner for Special Duties, Hon Chukwuemeka Ajogu, appreciated the people for their unflinching support, their confidence and trust they repose in his government. He promised to complete all the ongoing state government projects in Nachi and initiate other new ones as days goes by. He gave the assurance that Nachi people will receive whatever that’s due to them from his government, both in projects and in appointments. The governor praised the people for their unity and organizing such an epoch-making event. He stated that connecting the state to the center through the APC is one of the best things that happened to the state in recent times considering what the state tends to benefit from such alignment going forward.
Also speaking, the APC chairman in the state, Barrister Ben Nwoye who was there present, commended the people for domesticating the movement from the old political party to the new political party, the APC in their ward, and being among the first to do that. He stated that what they did was a masterstroke and worthy of emulation, promising them that APC will not fail or disappoint them like the former old party.
Other special guests and leaders who were present and spoke to the people in line with what both the governor and the state APC chairman said include, the Senate Minority Whip and the Senator representing the good people of Enugu West Senatorial District in the Senate, Distinguished Senator Osita Ngwu, ably represented by his Chief of Staff, Hon. Clems Emeka Aneke, the chairman of Udi LGA, Hon. Hyginus Ogbonnia Agu, and the member representing Udi South in the state House of Assembly, Hon. Dr. Hyacinth Okechukwu Aneke. All commended the unity among the Nachi stakeholders with the assurance of a better tomorrow with such continuous unity. Others that graced the occasion include the representative of the Speaker Enugu State House of Assembly, Hon. Mike Madu and the SPA Political to the governor, Chief Frank Anioma, among others.
Among the Nachi notable leaders and political stakeholders behind the event and there present include the traditional ruler of Nachi, HRH Igwe C.C Ezeume (Ohazulume), accompanied by his counterpart from Abor, Igwe Kingsley Ngwudile (Agodom). Others were Dr. Chris Igbokwe, Dr. Obi Ilo, Dr. Peter Onuigbo (PG), Dr. Godson Eze, Chief Titus Ezeadina, Chief Ferdinand Onyia (Maxxis), Chief Ben Ugwu (Ogbuzulu), Mrs Chinyere Agu (Chy Akidi), Mrs Isioma Amobi Eze, Chief Hubert Ezenwugo, Hon. Engr. Makuochukwu Okoli, Chief Amobi Eze, Chief Obum Onuigbo, Engr Tony Onyia (Lamour), the Nachi Youth President, Mr. Anthony Eze, among others.
