The Uche Dioha Foundation has today February 19, 2026 disbursed scholarships to outstanding students from Udi LGA at Enugu State University of Science and Technology.
The initiative which is born out of compassion aims to support students faced with financial difficulties and ease the burden on their parents.
The pilot scheme which was unveiled today had many participants which were rigorously screened by a distinguished panel to ensure a fair selection Process, and here are the successful students:
- Obi-ubaka Kainyenna Ekene – Law, Ukana
- Obodugo Emmanuel Ugochukwu – Human Anatomy, Amozala Affa
- Eze Innocent Chikaodili – Law, Nsude
- Okoh Stephen Chisom – Nursing Science, Egede
- Ozonoh Chinaza Mirabel – Microbiology, Etiti Ngwo
- Olife Chinonso Kennedy – Civil Engineering, Amofia Agu Affa
- Onyia Mmesoma – Electrical Engineering, Abia Town
- Chijioke Rejoice Ginika – Political Science, Udi Town
- Ofodi Obinna Prosper – Biochemistry, Eke
- Nneke Blessing Joseph – Education Management, Udi Town
The Director of the foundation Chief Uche Dioha thanked God for the opportunity to impact on the lives of the students, urge them to be good ambassadors of their communities so they can replicate this gesture when they finally succeed in life.
Dioha further promised to continue with the exercise until he graduates from ESUT.
He also informed our correspondent that he has two full scholarship schemes already running but won’t fail to rescue students who are stranded due to financial issues and unable to register their courses before matriculation.
He pledged to expand the next phase of the programme so it could accommodate more persons desirous of the opportunity.
Chief Uche Dioha is a successful business man and native of Amofia Agu in Affa,Udi LGA, currently running a program with Enugu state university of science and technology, Enugu, Nigeria.
