Former Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology and Governorship Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Enugu State, Chief Uche Geoffrey Nnaji, on Friday attended the official commissioning of the Reconstructed Arab/Gbazango Road in Kubwa, Bwari Area Council, Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The project was commissioned on behalf of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, who represented the President at the ceremony.
Chief Nnaji attended the event as a special guest of the Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, His Excellency Barrister Nyesom Wike, CON, joining other distinguished public officials, traditional rulers, political leaders, and invited guests for the landmark occasion.
The reconstructed road forms part of the FCT Administration’s ongoing infrastructure renewal programme aimed at improving mobility, opening up communities, and stimulating economic activities across the Federal Capital Territory.
Chief Nnaji commended the Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, His Excellency Barrister Nyesom Wike, CON, for prioritizing critical infrastructure development, noting that sustained investments in roads and other public assets are fundamental to national development, economic growth, improved connectivity, and enhanced quality of life for citizens.
The event attracted a broad cross-section of government officials, community leaders, and residents, reflecting the significance of the project to the continued transformation of the Federal Capital Territory.
