For him parenting or lack of it is at the heart of most of the nations woes including insecurity and lack of adherence to our national values and ethics. And proper parenting, a micro responsibility of every household should be part of the solution for stabilising the social fabric of the nation.
Issa-Onilu connected the effort at finding solution to the nations problem to NOA strategic programmes including the launch of additional platforms to engage with the citizens even from a very young age.
He assured the organisers that NOA as the powerhouse that drives attitudinal change will not shirk its responsibility to the nation. Already some of the steps being taken especially in the area of proper parenting is the current engagement with cartoon creator’s with a view to ensuring that what “our children watch going forward are reflective of our heroes, our culture, our folklore, our diversity, challenges and victories”
