ENUGU STATE GOVERNMENT REFUTES ALLEGATIONS OF BEANS POISONING.

The state government has taken notice of recent allegations circulating in social media platforms regarding the alleged poisoning of three kids through containmated beans brought from the market in the state.

The SSA on New media Dr Reuben Onyishi made this known while briefing news men in his office. He said they paid a visit to the family of the deceased children whom rumour has it that they died after consuming beans .

He said the essence of the briefing was to refute the various stories going round .

He said in view of this, investigations was carried out and a visit was paid to the family residence of the mother of the children located at zone o e Akwuke behind 103 battalion military barracks in Enugu. During the interview, their mother identified as Angela Egbo , an indigene of Nenwe in Aniniri local government Area and a propritress of Elohim Gaddon Scholls Akwoke, disclosed that her children, Chiemerie victir Egbo (14) Uchechukwu Ruth Egne 17, Chinechem 22 did not die of food or beans poison as the family has not eating beans for a very long time.

The family said the children took ill and was taken to mother of christ Enugu and UNTH , Ituku ozaalla. In Nkanu wast local government for medical attention addingvthat form numerous laboratory test conducted, no trace of food poison was attributed as the cause of their death

She said the children were already buried and the video making riund on social media was false.
