The Executive Governor of Enugu State, Dr Peter Ndubuisi Mbah has reassured his desire commitment for a motorable good road from the Local Government Headquarters, Umulokpa, Adaba, Ukpata, Uvuru and Nkpologu.
This was made known after the Enugu State Economic Council, Chaired by Governor Mbah on Thursday at Enugu.
In appreciation of this pronouncement by Governor Mbah, the Executive Chairman of Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area, Barr Chijioke Ezugwu thanked the Governor for his quality and sterling performance since he assumed office as the Governor and his desire to improve the lots of people.
“Your Excellency, we watched you closely immediately we assumed office hundred and some days ago, we have watched your desire to improve the lots of our people, you rank highest, you have earned the love for our people, the support and followership. This is because leadership is exemplified by the quality of followership it generates. He maintained.
Addressing news men shortly after the council meeting, Barr. Ezugwu stated that Governor Mbah has surprised him and the entire Uzo-Uwani Local Government by his pronouncement that works would soon commenced from Uzo-Uwani Local Government Council Headquarters, Umulokpa through Adaba, Ukpata, Uvuru, to Nkpologu.
He expressed his profound joy and heartfelt gratitude to the Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency Dr Peter Ndubuisi Mbah and leaders of Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area for the confidence they continued to posed on him and the Governor of Enugu State.
“I understand and appreciate the magnitude of responsibility entrusted us as government, especially that of running an all embracing and inclusive rural areas.
He thanked God and promised to rekindle his love, faith and commitment to every common man.
