TWO LABOUR PARTY MEMBERS, ASSEMBLY MEMBERS REJOIN PDP

Three Prominent lawmakers from the labour party today the 1st of May, resigned their membership and rejoined the Peoples Democratic Party PDP in Enugu.
The returing Members include Hon.Chidi Mark Obetta. Who represents Nsukka/Igboeze south Federal Constituency in the House of Reps, his counterpart from Igbo-eze North/Udenu Fed Constituency, Hon Dennis Agbo and Hon Malachy Onyichi who represents Nsukka west in Enugu state house of Assembly.
Welcoming the lawmakers back into the party the state chairman of the PDP, Dr Martin Chukwunweike described their action as a home coming that would strengthen the party ahead of future political contest .
He commended their courage and recognised them as leaders who have prioritised the interest of their constituents over personal ambition.
Former Labour Party governorship candidate Hon, Chijoke Edeoga expressed gratitude to the law markers for their bold decision starting that it reflects the growing confidence in the PDP umder the leadership of Governor Peter Mbah. Edeoga voiced optimising that the returnees would significantly contribute to the progress of the state.
Speaking at the PDP secretariat, Hon Chidi Mark Obetta expressed confidence that aligning with PDP would better serve hos Constituents interest. He praised the PDP leadership under Governor Mbah and reaffirmed his commitment to efficient representation and people centred service.
Hon Denis Agbo cited the need for unity stability and purposeful governance as his motivation for rejoining the PDP.
He emphasised that it is time for leaders to collaborate in the best interest of the state.
Hon Malachy onyechi also expressed gratitude for the warm reception from PDP family noting tjat his return aligns with his commitment to improved service delivery and development in Nsukka West.
