On Friday Nsukka Zone witnessed a dramatic political moment as thousands gathered unexpectedly to welcome Chief Uche Nnaji during a surprise movement across the area. The most talked-about aspect of the event was that there was reportedly no crowd mobilization or paid attendance.
Eyewitnesses revealed that the excitement started immediately residents realized that the passing entourage belonged to Nwakaibie. Within minutes, supporters emerged from homes, markets, and roadsides to greet him enthusiastically.
Market traders, transport workers, wheelbarrow pushers, and persons with disabilities participated actively in the welcome.
One resident, Mr. Peter Onah stated, “This crowd came from the heart, not from political arrangements.” Another, Miss Florence Eze said, “No force, no rented supporters, just genuine acceptance.”
The atmosphere remained energetic as chants of “Uche Nnaji or Nothing” echoed repeatedly. Residents danced joyfully and shouted “Uche Dey Comooooo!” as the convoy moved through communities.
Political watchers described the spontaneous gathering as an important statement from Nsukka people, noting that genuine grassroots connection often speaks louder than organized political events.
Enugu Shall Rise Again.
